The Sr Specialist will be a hands-on developer with technical acumen that excels in a structured, dynamic, fast-moving environment and is passionate about developing high quality, high performance, and scalable solutions. The candidate will develop data solutions and work aside a team of seasoned engineers whose main objective is to maintain all aspects of the system health and ensure the quality delivery of software releases. This position will be part of the Operational Data Exchange (ODX) Technology team within the Schwab Data organization focusing on providing Operational Intelligence and Insights, and position Schwab to remain a Data Driven organization using a world class Data Exchange (DX) platform. The DX support various critical business functions and business units - Schwab Technology Services (STS), Audit, Corporate Tax, Risk, Compliance, etc. This is a role for someone who is passionate and excited to learn/understand the business, focus on basics and streamline existing system to make is stable that is pivotal to drive client-centricity, reducing time to market, scale & increasing efficiency.
