About The Position
As a Data Engineer at Meta Platforms, Inc., you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and launching data pipelines that facilitate the movement of data across various systems. Your work will contribute to the development of the next generation of data tools that generate valuable business insights for our products. You will analyze user needs and software requirements to assess workability and provide support for end users regarding data usage. Your responsibilities will also include designing, architecting, and developing software and data solutions that empower product and business teams to make informed, data-driven decisions. In this position, you will be expected to rethink and influence the strategy and roadmap for creating efficient data solutions and scalable data warehouse plans. You will design, develop, test, and launch new data models and processes into production while providing ongoing support. Leveraging both homegrown extract, transform, and load (ETL) frameworks and off-the-shelf ETL tools will be essential to your role. You will work closely with data infrastructure, product, and engineering teams to build and extend cross-platform ETL and reporting generation frameworks. Additionally, you will identify data infrastructure issues and drive them to resolution, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our data systems.
