The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data. This role involves automating data ingestion from internal and external sources into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and optimizing workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability. The Data Engineer will monitor and validate data ingestion processes to ensure integrity and develop and maintain data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting needs. Collaboration with ERP, DevOps, and infrastructure teams is essential to ensure secure and efficient data operations. The role also includes implementing data validation, cleansing, and monitoring procedures, ensuring compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data flows, architecture, and lineage. The Data Engineer will partner with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand and fulfill data requirements and provide technical support for data-related service requests and troubleshooting. Participation in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and retrospectives, is also expected.
