About The Position

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing technology team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Engineering is required.
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases is required.
  • Experience working with SQL Server is required.
  • Experience working with Python for at least 3 years’ is required.
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets is required.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement is required.
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Salesforce data structure is preferred.
  • Knowledge of working in Azure is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture.
  • Enterprise pipeline orchestration set up administration (AWS Glue, Airflow, Fivetran)
  • Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional & non-functional business requirements.
  • Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using relevant technologies.
  • Working with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
  • Securing the data within our environment.
  • Working with our analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
  • Building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
  • Maintaining our data model.
  • Other duties as assigned.
