About The Position

As a big data engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your skills to implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You’ll help develop and deploy the pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. Here, you’ll learn from a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You’ll grow your skills in analytical exploration and data examination while you support the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients. Requirements

• Experience with querying or analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems
• Experience with visualizing data to identify or communicate key insights
• Knowledge of basic concepts in mathematics and statistics
• Knowledge of Cloud environments
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

• Experience with systems engineering or systems administration
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
• Experience in Python, GitHub in Data Science, or related fields
• Experience with Physna geometric search tool
• Ability to learn a programming language
