About The Position
We have an immediate opening at the Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) for a strong Data Engineer to participate in our Data Management Program. Data is one of our most valuable assets and we strive to become a more data -literate and data -driven organization. This position will work on a small, collaborative team that uses agile practices to deliver value to our business partners.
Requirements
- Gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL – 6 years
- Using ETL tools to design ETL jobs (ETL 6 years, MINIMUM 2 years of ETL with Alteryx)
- Developing various types of data loads (e.g. incremental, history/full, survivorship rules) – 6 years
- Implementing change data capture (CDC) – 4 years
- Testing and debugging ETL – 6 years
- Developing complex SQL - 6 years (should be recent experience)
- ETL job scheduling – 2 years
- Loading data warehouses using ETL tools – 2 years
Nice To Haves
- Management of multiple ETL tools
- Experience with data quality tools and frameworks - preferred
- Using source code version control software - preferred
