Requirements

2+ years of professional experience in a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role.
Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation and analytics (e.g., pandas, NumPy, or similar).
Strong working knowledge of SQL (complex joins, aggregations, performance tuning).
Solid understanding of data pipelines and high-level analytics architecture.
Comfortable working in an agile / sprint-based development model.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to data quality and detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance, especially Small Commercial lines.
Experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
Familiarity with underwriting, exposure data, or rating variables.
Exposure to machine learning or AI-driven analytics environments (model inputs, monitoring, or validation).
Experience supporting production analytics or reporting systems.
Familiarity With version control tools (e.g., Git) and basic CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

Gather and manipulate data from various sources including internal and external data to be optimal for analysis by product analysts/actuaries/data scientists.
Clean and maintain data models and pipelines using Python and SQL to help develop and improve Artificial Intelligence Insurance Underwriting and Audit models.
Write and maintain scripts to test various artificial intelligence algorithms including testing use of AI Agents
