Job Summary As a Data Engineer at BD, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work with diverse datasets to enable data-driven insights and support critical business functions within our innovative healthcare technology environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
1 year experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a similar role.
Experience with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and schema design.
Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, Java).
Understanding of data governance principles and data security standard methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Architect the Future of Data - Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes that transform raw data into valuable business intelligence from diverse sources
Build Powerful Pipelines - Create and maintain scalable, robust data pipelines leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies (particularly Azure).
Collaborate Across Teams - Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and fellow engineers to understand complex requirements and craft elegant technical solutions
Champion Data Quality - Implement and maintain rigorous data governance practices ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, quality, and security
Document with Precision - Develop comprehensive documentation for data models, flows, and architectures that empower the entire organization
Solve Complex Challenges - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues with determination and creativity, ensuring reliable data availability
