About The Position

We are seeking a Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership across data science, cloud-native systems, and AI-enabled platforms. This role focuses on designing and building scalable, distributed solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that support real-time data processing, analytics, and AI agentic workflows. Lead system design using Google Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Kubernetes. Support the deployment and lifecycle of AI/ML models in production environments. Data engineers are responsible for building reliable and scalable data infrastructure that enables organizations to derive meaningful insights, make data-driven decisions, and unlock the value of their data assets. The primary focus is to help organizations design, develop, and optimize their data infrastructure and systems. They help organizations enhance data processes, and leverage data effectively to drive business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience in software engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with Python and Java.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, REST API design and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership across data science, cloud-native systems, and AI-enabled platforms.
  • Design and build scalable, distributed solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that support real-time data processing, analytics, and AI agentic workflows.
  • Lead system design using Google Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Kubernetes.
  • Support the deployment and lifecycle of AI/ML models in production environments.
  • Design, build, and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines on GCP.
  • Enable analytics and data science workflows using BigQuery and scalable data platforms.
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Java.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure RESTful APIs.
  • Build asynchronous, event-driven services using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Architect and deploy cloud-native services on GCP, leveraging Kubernetes (GKE).
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud automation.
