About The Position

The Data & AI Division within Microsoft Activity at abra is hiring a Data Engineer. In this role, you will be a key contributor, building and maintaining advanced data infrastructure that supports critical projects across the organization. You’ll work closely with IT and development teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• Up to 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, AWS, or similar.
• Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, T-SQL), ETL tools (SSIS, ADF), Data Warehousing (DWH), and data modeling.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and performance optimization.
• Analytical mindset and team collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or .NET is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple data sources.
• Work with SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake), and other cloud platforms.
• Design, build, and optimize Data Warehouses (DWH) and data models.
• Collaborate with teams across IT and development to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
