We are small enough to care but large enough to matter About the Job: As a member of our Data Team, you will design and implement a comprehensive data strategy, ensuring high-quality data management, transformation, and integration to meet project goals. As a key leader, you will oversee a cross-functional team, collaborate with stakeholders, and leverage best practices in data governance, analytics, and process optimization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data strategy, governance, and large-scale project execution
  • 6 plus years of experience in a data engineering role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Expertise in data analytics, integration, and optimization tools
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Strong data modeling experie nce
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies, web service protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.), including deep knowledge of data formats (e.g., XSLT, JSON, XML) and data transformation techniques
  • Experience or familiarity with cloud and private PaaS solutions
  • Experience managing application data migration and conversion efforts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working at a professional services consulting company focused on information technology delivery
  • Prior management consulting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a data strategy and roadmap
  • Lead the team in data collection, cleansing, validation, and optimization efforts
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data processes with business goals and technical requirements
  • Work with technology teams to drive tooling and solutions for data at rest, data in motion, and data in use
  • Manage stakeholder communications and provide insights for decision-making
  • Monitor data quality, compliance, and security standards throughout the project lifecycle
