About The Position

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and our enterprise data warehouse. You will work closely with data analysts, AI/ML Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and reliable data delivery across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering or a related role required.
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, or related field required.
  • Proficiency in SQL (advanced queries, performance tuning, stored procedures).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses: Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabrics.
  • Strong experience with Python or Scala for data transformation and pipeline development.
  • Experience with orchestration tools: Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
  • Proficiency with dbt (data build tool) for transformation and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts: dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas.
  • Experience integrating streaming or real-time data (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Kinesis) is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data Lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, or Apache Hudi).
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, Soda, etc.).
  • Knowledge of containerization and infrastructure-as-code (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources including databases, APIs, and flat files.
  • Build and manage the enterprise data warehouse, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance.
  • Architect and implement data models (star/snowflake schemas) to support BI and analytics use cases.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, data quality, and warehouse queries.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data requirements and deliver reliable datasets.
  • Implement data governance, lineage tracking, and documentation best practices.
  • Automate pipeline orchestration using tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar.
  • Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve data infrastructure.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver Innovative solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on data and automation solutions.
