GA Telesis is a global leader providing integrated solutions to the aviation and aerospace industries. Within the IT Department at GA Telesis, the Data Team focuses on creating a competitive advantage for our business units by helping them make quick decisions based on the analytics we provide them. We are a small but growing team that builds and leverages state-of-the-art analytics systems. Reporting to the Director of Data Services, the Data Engineer role will gather and evaluate business requirements and translate them into functional solutions. Solutions will range from enforcing data security and accessibility, setting up data collection and processing infrastructure, designing and processing data models to support business intelligence reporting, administering databases with a focus on ease of access and cost control, to occasionally creating Business Intelligence reports and Data Visualizations. This position has an in-depth background in data modeling and data analysis and requires strong business acumen.
