Pulte Mortgage is seeking an experienced, passionate, results-oriented, hands-on data engineer with experience transforming organizations into a more data-driven culture and environment to join our information systems department. Our vision is to elevate the power of data by providing robust data quality, data management, data modeling, and data visualization solutions to empower our people to make informed, data-driven decisions. We are looking for a seasoned software engineer with a passion for data who has hands-on experience building and debugging SQL Server databases, data pipelines, data transformations, and data acquisition processes. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data analytics, business intelligence and data governance initiatives by leveraging data, visualization and data platform technologies while partnering with cross-functional teams and departments. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing data pipelines, coding ETL/ELT solutions, using SQL, Python, or PySpark to investigate data, and working with the Data Product team to deliver user stories as part of the company’s data roadmap. The ideal candidate will also bring a passion for, and possible experience with, AI, Machine Learning (ML) and other agent processes to infuse our data into decision-driven analytics. This position requires a data-driven individual with strong technical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
