As a Data Engineer, Senior within PNC's Data Products Organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH or Birmingham, AL. Responsibilities require time in the office on a weekly basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

  • Leads in developing, supporting and implementing data solutions for multiple applications in order to meet business objectives and user requirements.
  • Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
  • Leads data requirement analysis and the data preparation process development for targeted data solutions.
  • Leads in designing and building data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms, according to the workflow.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of data solutions for multiple applications to ensure its scalability, availability and maintainability.
  • Consults on data migration and transformation to ensure the accuracy and security of data solutions.
  • Extensive experience with big data technologies and distributed computing tools (Hadoop, Spark, Hive Kafka, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Python, PySpark, Spark, SQL
  • Proficient in Containerization (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience with public cloud platforms - Apache Ice-burg and AWS - S3
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Proven data literacy skills to describe business outcomes, data uses, data sources, and their management concepts and analytical approaches to all organizational levels in both business and technology.
  • Develops, supports and implements data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements.
  • Works closely with users, developers, operations and business partners to define data service requirements and the data preparation process development.
  • Designs and builds data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms, according to key business processes and the overall workflow.
  • Define and implement internal process improvements through the development of detailed analytics that provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics.
