As a Data Engineering Team Lead at Booz Allen, you’ll use your expertise to act as a Data Architect, Developer, and DBA while leading a team on mission-driven projects. You’ll guide data engineering activities by overseeing the administration of SQL Server environments and the development of pipelines that organize and make disparate data meaningful. Here, you’ll mentor a team of analysts, data engineers, and developers in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll use your expertise in schema design and data examination while you oversee the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients. Requirements

7+ years of experience designing and developing SQL databases and administering Microsoft SQL Server
5+ years of experience with SQL change control, schema comparison, and change deployment from development to production using tools such as RedGate or Apex
3+ years of experience with PySpark pipelines and query development in Databricks
2+ years of experience supervising others and leading projects and deliverables within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree
