About The Position

Tokyo Electron America, Inc. seeks an Engineer, Data III in Hillsboro, OR. The role involves designing, building, and overseeing the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions, and software to capture, manage, store, and utilize structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources. The engineer will establish and build processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multiple inputs, route appropriately, and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required. Additionally, the engineer will develop technical tools and programming that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize, and transform data, maintaining, defending, and updating data structures and integrity on an automated basis. The position also requires creating and establishing design standards and assurance processes for software, systems, and applications development to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows, and storage requirements. The engineer will review internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity, suggesting changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs. Furthermore, the role includes designing and managing integrated, scalable ETL pipeline jobs for an edge computing environment using DAG-based products and setting strategic goals for the data engineering roadmap and products.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Analyst or related occupations.
  • 2 years of experience in Python in an equipment productivity analytics software development domain.
  • 2 years of experience in SQL in an equipment productivity analytics software development domain.
  • 2 years of experience in Industrial Productivity concept mastery in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • 2 years of experience with Prefect Orchestrator for container-based deployment solutions.
  • 2 years of experience with SFTP protocol for B2B cron-based transfers.
  • 2 years of experience in Machine Learning.
