About The Position

Data Engineer III - (employer: Sirius XM Radio LLC; job location: New York, NY) - Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant data processing systems using Spark, Flink, Druid, or similar tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency. Write complex SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting. Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes. Optimize data pipelines and system performance to ensure efficient data processing and analysis. Build and maintain data infrastructure, including data storage and data access systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data engineering technologies and best practices. Telecommuting is permitted from any U.S. location.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology and Management, plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or as software engineer or data engineer.
• All of the required experience must have included developing data processing pipelines using Spark and cloud-based data warehousing solutions (AWS Redshift Python; using understanding of distributed systems, data modeling and ETL processes; building/supporting, Snowflake or Teradata); and working in AWS Services and Databricks platforms.
