Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Six years of experience in developing data warehouses and data marts, preferably in a healthcare organization.
  • Proven expertise in developing data architectures, data standards, and master data management strategies.
  • Thorough understanding of relational database concepts and data hierarchies.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Informatica and Data Stage.
  • Experience in developing data mapping, relationships, and dimensional data models.
  • Broad technology skills in Data Warehouse appliances (Netezza, Teradata), SQL programming, and BI/Reporting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with performance tuning of queries.
  • Knowledge of BI/DW life-cycle and a systems approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and hospital data sources.
  • Design and develop dimensional data models for the data warehouse and data marts.
  • Assist in developing master data management strategies and enterprise data standards.
  • Ensure data is well-defined, accurate, standardized, cleaned, and structured for reporting.
  • Develop data integration strategies, source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and transformation logic.
  • Create data profiling and data quality methodologies for data transformation processes.
  • Develop strategies for optimal delivery of analytics using techniques like reverse engineering and agile methodologies.
  • Create roadmaps for the evolution of the Data Warehouse based on institutional needs.
  • Take technical ownership of data marts supporting specific analytic objectives.
