The Data Engineering team at SAMS is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support business-critical applications. Requirements

Strong understanding of big data systems and architecture ecosystems
Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure, GCP, or other cloud services
Enterprise Experience in working with Databricks or Snowflake or Airflow
Proficiency in coding languages such as SQL, Scala, and Python
Strong understanding of Spark and enterprise-level experience
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related field.
Option 3: Master's degree in Computer Science.

Nice To Haves

Data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
Knowledge of accessibility best practices and joining to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
