The Opportunity Employer: United Services Automobile Association Tasks: Engage in the full life cycle of data engineering to include analysis, solution design, data pipeline engineering, testing, deployment, scheduling, and production support. Deliver quality reporting and data business intelligence solutions to the organization and assist client teams with drawing insights to make informed, data driven decisions. Builds on data management principles and methodologies to include new and emerging related technologies. Use of various data analysis techniques to include data analysis, object-oriented programming languages, and/or data engineering skills (databases and ETL tools). Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create standards and best practices for Business Intelligence and Data Management solutions. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Participates in design and code review sessions. Monitors the execution of data pipelines in the production environment. May telecommute.

  • Will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
