As a Data Engineer within PNC's Asset Management Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

  • Focus on PNC's Big Data transformation within Asset Management Group.
  • Drive change with business partners and set expectations.
  • Guide and mentor data developers to ensure best practices in data engineering are followed.
  • Develop PySpark data pipelines within Hadoop environment.
  • Develop, support and implement data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements.
  • Design, build and maintain technology solutions.
  • Work closely with users, developers, operations and business partners to define data service requirements and the data preparation process development.
  • Design and build data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms, according to key business processes and the overall workflow.
  • Implement data migration and transformation activities/processes to ensure the accuracy and security of data solutions.
  • Proven experience in Data Architecture, analytics, and large data technology including Hadoop or similar tools.
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • University / college degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience.
