The Data Scientist drives new data insights to uncover business opportunities and revenue streams. This role requires a firm understanding of statistics and data visualization for effective communication. The Data Scientist must also have an understanding of business growth areas and how to utilize important data. Responsibilities include identifying new analytic trends, data needs, and developing repeatable analytic solutions. The Data Scientist will work with key stakeholders to generate hypotheses and create analytic models that answer impactful business questions. Additionally, the role involves identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets using various supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, and clustering, applying machine learning approaches where applicable. Experience in data wrangling and dynamic model tuning is also essential.
