About The Position

abra’s Data & AI division is expanding, and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated BI / Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative data projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape data-driven strategies across industries.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in BI / Data Engineering, with strong database orientation
• Advanced SQL skills (MERGE, dynamic SQL, loops, performance optimization)
• Experience working with JSON and non-tabular data sources
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Ability to work independently with strong self-learning skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric – significant advantage
• Experience with Python – significant advantage
• Experience with Generative AI models – significant advantage

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes in Azure with diverse data sources
• Design, manage, and optimize cloud-based data environments
• Build and optimize scalable Data Warehouses
• Write complex SQL queries and perform performance tuning
• Work with Data Lakes, parallel job execution, and cloud Big Data architectures
• Develop cloud-based AI solutions, including Generative AI models
• Perform data modeling and analytics using Power BI
