About The Position

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Solid track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting values from large datasets
• Hands-on experience and highly advanced knowledge of SQL, Data Modeling, ETL Development, and Data Warehousing
• Solid experience using big data technologies (Redshift, MapReduce, Hive, Hbase, Spark, EMR, etc.)
• Strong customer focus, ownership, and ability to deliver results
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Effective analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
• Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
• Experience building large-scale, high-throughput, 24x7 data systems

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support an analytical data infrastructure
• Create and maintain data transformation logic, create scalable data solutions
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
• Collaborate with BIEs to recognize and help adopt best practices in reporting and analysis
• Explore and learn the latest AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency
• Help continually improve ongoing data ingestion, reporting and analysis processes
• Maintain internal reporting platforms/tools
• Write advanced SQL queries and code to develop data solutions
