The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) department is establishing the One PT Data Office to serve as the strategic center for data governance, strategy, and enablement across the entire global PT network. This team is at the heart of our digital transformation, responsible for architecting and leading a central data office to unlock the full potential of PT’s data assets. The Data Domain Lead - CMC Clinical Development (DDL) defines, owns, and leads the execution of the domain data strategy and roadmap in alignment with the PT data strategy, driving the delivery of tangible business outcomes. This is a multi-faceted role that requires strong matrix leadership, strategic thinking, and deep data domain expertise to drive the maturation of the domain, build data foundations, and foster a culture of excellent data citizenship. The Opportunity Execute the vision and strategy for data products and data governance within the assigned data domain, co-develop the PT-wide data product roadmap, and guide strategic prioritization of the domain’s data products. Oversee the data lifecycle management (acquisition, storage, transformation, and archiving) by closely liaising with other data roles, such as Data Product Owners (DPO) and Data Stewards. Lead and strategize on the integration of data from various sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy across PT, and drive the development and maintenance of core data assets. Ensure adherence to Digital, IT & QMS frameworks, policies, and standards to maintain data security, quality, and integrity, and work with teams to ensure effective implementation of global standards. Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for data-related matters in the PT Development domain, ensuring transparency in data priorities and decision making. Partner with data domain, business, and IT stakeholders—together with the Portfolio Lead—to prioritize data initiatives based on business value and strategic alignment. Lead the strategic design of data products and governance frameworks to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and a culture of innovation, in close collaboration with the One PT Data Office.
