The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is the nation's oldest program to help low-income, unemployed individuals 55+ receive job training and a path to employment. SCSEP is administered by the US Department of Labor. VANTAGE Aging operates SCSEP in 31 counties across Indiana and 38 counties in Ohio. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to perform data entry and compliance operations. As a key member of the VANTAGE Aging team, you will support the accuracy of participant and host agency files. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality. You should be technologically savvy, possessing the skills to navigate Microsoft Office Suite and specialized database systems efficiently.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with database systems.
  • High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred
  • Ability to type and perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to pass periodic background investigations as required by funding sources.

Responsibilities

  • Execute precise data entry into the Department of Labor’s Grant Performance Management System (GPMS) and VANTAGE’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) platform.
  • Audit Participant and Host Agency files to ensure total completion and accuracy.
  • Process all CRM tasks associated with Participant and Host Agency activity to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Input quarterly participant hours in GPMS and verify the annual recertification of all participants.
  • Ensure all documentation within the GPMS and CRM systems remains complete and compliant with all funding source requirements.
  • Communicate the necessity for corrections or additional documentation to Regional Managers and Staff Participants in a professional and positive manner.
  • Provide navigation and technical support to Regional Managers for the effective use of CRM, SharePoint, and GPMS.
  • Partner with the SCSEP Payroll to resolve in-kind and timesheet issues as needed.
