About The Position

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager , t he Data Center Technician is responsible for providing professional serv ices to our internal and external customers. Duties this role performs include administrat ion , maint enance , install ations , test ing/ troubleshoot ing , plus monitor ing functioning of assigned networks and systems used by Range staff and external customers . Key responsibilities are t o ensure a high quality of service with c ompany and c ustomer data use and access, and s upport company stakeholders with any technological needs that arise . This role is expected to perform frequent travel for delivery of services.

Requirements

• Successful completion of Technical School, a 2 -year / associate degree ( i n Electronics, Telecommunications, IT/Networking , or a similar field of study preferred ), OR the following experience under bullet ( i ).
• Three (3) years of successful work experience performing telecommunications related functions.
• Typing skills to be a minimum of 50 words per minute (50 wpm), with an 85%+ accuracy rate.
• A valid, state - issued, and insurable drivers’ license.
• Working k nowledge of local, state , and federal employment regulations .

Nice To Haves

• Completion of one or more of the following certifications : Calix Access Equ ipment Metaswitch MCT (Class 4 or 5) CompTIA Network+ Nokia Optical Network Certification ( ONC ) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
