About The Position

Rapid Response Data Center Technician Location: Milwaukee based (Extensive Travel Required)
Job Summary We are seeking a Travel Data Center Technician to support multiple data center locations across the Midwest. This role will travel
frequently to different facilities to perform hands-on data center operations, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is
technically strong, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in mission-critical environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on data center, IT hardware, or technical infrastructure experience
• Experience with racking/stacking, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting
• Familiarity with servers, networking equipment, and storage devices

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting multiple data center sites or field-based roles
• Knowledge of fiber optics, cross-connects, and patch panels

Responsibilities

• Travel to data centers across the Midwest to support daily operations and project-based work
• Perform installation, racking, stacking, and cabling of servers, network, and storage equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connectivity, and power-related issues
• Conduct break/fix repairs, component swaps, and firmware upgrades
• Support data center moves, expansions, and decommissioning activities
• Perform structured cabling (fiber and copper), labeling, and documentation
