About The Position

What success looks like in this role: Install, configure, and maintain servers, network equipment, and storage systems. Perform routine hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs. Monitor data center infrastructure for performance, temperature, and power usage. Manage cabling (fiber and copper) and ensure proper labeling and documentation. Support remote hands requests and coordinate with vendors and internal teams. Maintain inventory of hardware and spare parts. Follow and enforce data center security and access protocols. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents as needed. On-site role in a secure data center environment Travel may be required to support other client data centers. May require evening or weekend work for maintenance windows or emergencies. Perform ancillary data center tasks such as managing user access to supported data centers, creating tickets for inbound/outbound shipments, etc. Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-4 years of experience in a data center or IT support role.
  • Familiarity with server hardware, networking equipment, and structured cabling.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Therefore, to conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
