About The Position

Technicians support data center sustainability and zero‑waste operations by managing material flows, secure asset handling, and overall operational accuracy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma + 2+ years in warehouse, supply chain, inventory, or IT material handling.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication, judgment, and ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Data center experience, associate’s degree in IT/logistics, sustainability or lifecycle management, familiarity with ERP/ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound/outbound materials, PO receiving, RMS activities, and asset staging.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with cycle counts, audits, and data corrections.
• Perform shipping/receiving, storage, and material movement operations.
• Securely decommission and destroy data‑bearing devices per compliance standards.
• Follow all SOPs, runbooks, and regulatory procedures.
• Monitor systems for issues; escalate or troubleshoot as needed.
• Use Microsoft Office and internal systems for updates and reporting.
• Decommission servers/racks and sort hardware for reuse or recycling.
• Harvest/test reusable components (memory, CPUs, cables, etc.).
• Handle warranty returns (RTV) for failed equipment.
