About The Position
The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions. The position includes various levels of technicians, with specific experience requirements for each level. The Lead Technician requires 5+ years of lead or management experience, while the L4 Technician requires 5+ years of dedicated data center experience, specifically in troubleshooting large GPU deployments. The L3 Technician requires 3+ years of data center experience. Responsibilities include removing network cables as part of a data center decommission, running, labeling, and staging power and networking cables, and following procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads.
