About The Position

The Data Center Technician position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of real-time transaction wagering systems used by the state Lottery. An Operator will monitor status of and operate all computer systems in accordance with established schedules and quality guidelines. This position will also support field staffs with troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work a regularly scheduled day shift operations shift (5:15am - 5:15pm), 7-days on then 7-days off.
• Operate all SG computer systems in accordance with established schedules and quality guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail is required to ensure all aspects of the operational environment are maintained.
• Log routine activities and report or promptly escalate problems to management for resolution.
• Ability to work with SG field service staff, members of retailer base and Lottery staffs to troubleshoot and resolve different situations.
• Other duties as assigned.
