About The Position

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a We are looking for an experienced Data Center Technician III to join our growing deployment team. This senior-level field role is responsible for the installation, integration, testing, and maintenance of wireless infrastructure equipment across various telecom sites, including macro towers, data centers, central offices, and small cell/DAS environments . The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in multi-vendor equipment , structured cabling, DC power systems, and advanced troubleshooting. This position also requires field leadership, documentation skills, and a commitment to job site safety and quality standards. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in telecom field installation, integration, or maintenance
• Proficient in working with major OEM equipment (Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Cisco, Ciena, etc.)
• Experience with fiber and copper testing (OTDR, PIM, VSWR, SFP diagnostics)
• Strong knowledge of DC power plant installation and troubleshooting
• Comfortable working in data centers, rooftops, central offices, and outdoor tower environments
• Strong verbal, written, and documentation skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights when required
• Willingness to travel extensively (75–100%) and work flexible hours
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10/30, RF Safety, CPR/First Aid certifications
• Familiar with iBwave, ATOLL, or other telecom engineering tools
• Experience with structured cabling, AC power, and HVAC coordination
• Experience performing microwave or IP backhaul equipment installs

Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning Perform physical installation of telecom equipment: BBUs, RRUs, routers, switches, power systems, and cabinets
• Execute rack & stack , cabling (CAT6/fiber), RF jumper installation, and grounding to industry standards
• Install, terminate, and test fiber optic and coaxial cable , including OTDR and power meter testing
• Integration & Testing Support site integration for 4G/5G/LTE networks (Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Ciena, etc.)
• Perform E911, VoLTE/VoNR call testing, sector sweep tests , and drive test validation
• Work with RF engineers and remote testers to ensure site readiness and KPI compliance
• Power & Infrastructure Complete installations of -48V DC power systems , battery backups, rectifiers, and grounding
• Verify proper voltage, current loads, and equipment startup using meters and hand tools
• Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed installation records, redlines, and closeout packages (COPs)
• Use mobile applications or field forms to log work completed, photos, test results, and sign-offs
• Leadership & Communication Serve as field lead when required; guide junior technicians and subcontractors on-site
• Communicate clearly with project managers, site leads, and customer contacts
• Follow project-specific Methods of Procedure (MOPs) , safety protocols, and escalation paths
