As an Data Center Technician your primary duty will be to support data center server rack power up operations. You have basic to intermediate skills and a general knowledge of electrical systems and operations. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to make decisions on your own but also know how to take direction when it is given paying attention to all details involved. Work Environment: Training will be a M-Fri shift, but then will move to a Shift 1-Sun-Wed 10-hour days 6:30am-5:00pm OR Shift 2-Wed-Sat 10-hour days 6:30am-5:00pm A Day in the Life: - Support rack power up operations at multiple sites - Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work - Work schedule changes depending on specific site needs to include nights and weekends. Shifts can be up to 12-hours and may rotate on a predefined schedule. - Role may support more than one location/site - Walk job sites in uneven terrain. Maintain balance and perform construction tasks while on a ladder - Regularly lift and/or move up to 39 pounds unassisted and participate in group lifts for 40 pounds - Regularly walk use hands and fingers handle or feel reach with hands and arms stoop kneel crouch or crawl climb stairs twist bend work above shoulders grasp carry push and pull
