About The Position

We are seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical infrastructure within a Data Center. This role is essential for maintaining high availability, managing risk, and supporting operational excellence. What You’ll Do Oversee on-site management of shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with established procedures. Conduct performance benchmarking, analysis, and reporting on facility operations and maintenance. Collaborate with IT managers and business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize safety and reliability. Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical systems, including: Switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment Chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems Assist with design/build-out of new facilities and efficiency improvement projects. Manage assets and inventory. Support recruiting efforts and ensure customer demands are met.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Military/Trade School Degree with relevant experience.
0–2 years of relevant work experience and management experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

0–2 years of Data Center Engineering or Management experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of network design, layout, and low-voltage copper/fiber cabling.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
