About The Position

The Data Center Site Supervisor functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). This role ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. The supervisor notifies proper authorities and clients in emergency situations, coaches and disciplines personnel, and trains Security Officers and other company personnel. The supervisor also assists in payroll submissions, ensures adequate coverage of all posts, prepares and submits various reports, and meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met. Additionally, the supervisor may perform the duties of a Security Officer as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and safety devices.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and other personnel at client sites.
• Ensure compliance with post orders and completion of established rounds.
• Notify authorities and clients in emergency situations.
• Coach and discipline personnel as appropriate.
• Train Security Officers and review post orders with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepare and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.
• Carry out supervisory duties including interviewing, training, and performance appraisals.
• Perform duties of a Security Officer as assigned.
