SUMMARY The Site Supervisor is a leadership role that oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of a specific account or site and works in the field. The role is responsible for ensuring the success of the Partner’s Controlled Contamination Services operations. This is primarily accomplished by bridging the Operations Manager and the hourly workforce. SHIFT DETAILS: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. The essential duties and responsibilities of this position title are specific to the data center service environment. For some roles, this may involve standard janitorial tasks like restrooms, offices and conference rooms along with the data halls, while others may be specifically dedicated inside data halls. Depending on the account, or location, other duties may be assigned. Supervise, plan and coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments (scheduling), setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees. Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques. Continually monitor the assigned data center cleaning operations to ensure all activities are completed promptly and correctly. Responsible for ensuring staff training completion, use of technical skills, maintaining safety, and meeting partner expectations. Organize and lead assigned job SOW and procedures to ensure efficiency, appropriate productivity, high quality, and the use of best practices at the site. Responsible for meeting project deliverables based on project goals, quality goals and company priorities. Utilize project management tools, processes and principles to enable project success. Make repeated rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, assign needed coverage, give special cleaning instructions and/or assignments, and determine compliance with directives. Manage job resources to ensure effective team performance to meet or exceed partner expectations. Identify the technical, procedural and equipment issues that hinder cleaning performance. Inform support personnel and Operations Manager. Recommend performance metrics for the cleaning service which will be reliable indicators of service quality, systems performance, productivity, and overall costs. Identify deviations (errors/mistakes) and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (fixes). Ensure jobsite supply inventory is satisfactory. At times, represent the company in customer interactions. Ensures accurate time keeping and labor law compliance – correct Paycom usage. Ability to operate floor scrubbing and carpet care equipment. (Training provided if needed) Ability to perform Payroll function for location (Training provided if needed)

Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • 1-3 years supervising the work of others required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in data centers, facilities, production, manufacturing, janitorial, cleaning, hospitality or related field is preferred.
