About The Position

The Data Center Site Supervisor functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). This role ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. The supervisor notifies proper authorities and clients in emergency situations, coaches and disciplines personnel, trains Security Officers, and assists in payroll submissions. The supervisor also prepares and submits various reports, inspects posts, and meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and quality customer service is provided.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in retail.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Ability to hold and meet requirements for applicable state, county, and municipal licenses for Security Officers.
• Knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of a variety of security and safety devices and controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and other personnel at client site(s).
• Ensure compliance with post orders and completion of established rounds.
• Notify authorities and clients in emergency situations.
• Coach and discipline personnel as appropriate.
• Train Security Officers and review post orders with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepare and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.
• Carry out supervisory duties including interviewing, training, and performance appraisals.
• Perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.
