About The Position

The Data Center Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites. This role ensures compliance with post orders, completion of rounds, and filing of required reports. The supervisor will notify authorities and clients in emergencies, coach and discipline personnel, and train staff on post orders and assignments. The position also involves submitting payroll and personnel information, ensuring adequate coverage of posts, and preparing various reports. The supervisor will meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service. Additional supervisory duties may include interviewing, training, planning, and addressing complaints. The supervisor may also perform Security Officer duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
  • Knowledge of security operations, patrol, inspection, and response services.
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
  • Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
  • Understanding of security and safety devices and controls.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in unusual circumstances.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a supervisory role within security operations.
  • Familiarity with state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Security Officers and other personnel at client sites.
  • Ensure compliance with post orders and completion of rounds.
  • Notify authorities and clients in emergency situations.
  • Coach and discipline personnel as appropriate.
  • Train Security Officers and review post orders with subordinates.
  • Assist in payroll and personnel information submission.
  • Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
  • Prepare and submit various reports as required.
  • Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks.
  • Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Carry out supervisory duties including interviewing and training employees.
  • Perform duties of a Security Officer as assigned.
