The Data Center/Server Technician position at F2OnSite in Florence, KY, is a full-time contract role focused on supporting daily modular level troubleshooting, testing, and assembly activities of PC-based servers according to manufacturing requirements. The technician will be responsible for utilizing basic computer theory to provide failure reporting and quality data in a fast-paced and high-pressure manufacturing environment. This role requires prior server build and data center experience, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team to meet production targets. The primary duties of the technician include troubleshooting at the system level, providing failure reporting at the modular level, processing non-conforming materials through the client process, and assembling and testing PC-based servers. The technician will also be expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs, and may involve standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching as part of the daily responsibilities. Candidates must be able to work weekday and weekend overtime as required, and will be expected to participate in housekeeping and other departmental 5S activities.
