The AMER Non-Traditional Environment (NTE) Security Team is looking for a Data Center Security Specialist to join our expanding Non-Traditional Control Center Team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and professional. They will have a passion for delighting customers, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The Data Center Security Specialist role may encompass oversight of contract employee deliverables and collaboration with NTE Security Managers in order to devise security strategies, achieve financial targets, and to improve the overall operational security within our NTE Data Centers. They will report to the NTE Regional Security Operations Manager. We are the security service team supporting the Non-Traditional Environment (NTE) Global Data Center portfolio. Operating under a follow-the-sun model, our team provides 24/7/365 security support services to NTE Global partners, customers and vendors worldwide. Our services include, but are not limited to, access control management, masking, security systems troubleshooting, break-fix and physical security compliance. As a key player in our 24/7 security operations, you'll protect critical data center infrastructure while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your day involves coordinating with security teams, managing vendor relationships, and responding to real-time security needs across our facilities. You'll monitor security metrics, investigate incidents, and develop solutions to enhance our security posture. One moment you might be reviewing surveillance systems, the next conducting security audits or coaching team members on best practices. Working in shifts, you'll collaborate with global colleagues to innovate and improve our security processes.   • Coordinate the activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard force.
  • Interface with and assist in mobilizing vendors involved in system repairs and new security construction.
  • Oversee individual security vendor deliverables, track service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed.
  • Foster working relationships to educate Data Center business partners and stakeholders on NTE Security posture, processes and procedures.
  • Foster working relationships to educate Data Center business partners and stakeholders on false alarm reductions.
  • Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at and analyzing data.
  • Verify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards.
  • Develop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access controls.
  • Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operations.
  • Collaborate with managers in writing and implementing security processes and procedures.
  • Serve as a customer advocate by identifying security-related opportunities and crafting innovative solutions that maintain security standards.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvements
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience using CCTV, access control and intrusion systems
  • Experience with various Access/Intrusion control Systems in a Control room environment
