About The Position

The position involves overseeing Tenant Improvement works associated with the fit-out of new data center spaces. The role requires a strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills while empowering a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of data center activities. The successful candidate will understand the design and functionality of the data center and work closely with design, construction, and commissioning teams to integrate new electrical distribution systems with existing infrastructure. Additionally, the role includes supporting and validating on-site data center operations related to electrical infrastructure and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for mission-critical electrical systems.

Requirements

• Strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills
• Experience in critical facility electrical engineering
• Change management of critical infrastructure to maintain customer uptime
• Design electrical equipment including sizing switchgear, PDUs, power panels, busways, cables, circuit breakers, diesel generators, UPS, and batteries
• Experience in electrical load distribution and balancing loads to avoid oversubscribing and failing of equipment
• Knowledge of critical theory and practical application of critical electrical equipment
• Maintenance operation of critical electrical equipment
• Familiarity with construction techniques, terminology, and documentation
• Ability to interpret blueprints, electrical SLDs, mechanical SLDs, and construction drawings
• Experience with load flow, short circuit, and TCC coordination studies in ETAP or SKM

• Proficiency in software tools such as SKM, ETAP, Bluebeam, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office tools

• Work with design, construction, and commissioning teams to integrate new electrical distribution systems
• Support and validate on-site data center operations related to electrical infrastructure
• Act as an electrical SME to support on-site operations related to mission-critical electrical systems
• Develop digitized electrical distribution templates to support rack placement
• Empower operational optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives
