AWS is seeking an exceptional Data Center Security Manager with a proven track
record of supporting security programs, strong program and project management
experience, comprehensive security program knowledge, and deep expertise in
security processes and requirements.

As a Data Center Security Manager at an AWS site, you will own the execution of
multiple security disciplines supporting fast-moving operations and manage
diverse projects designed to protect personnel, information, and critical
infrastructure from insider and external threats. You will also be responsible
for managing onsite security forces. You must obsess over internal and external
customers and successfully deliver support and services in an environment where
priorities shift rapidly. You must be able to operate independently, manage
security projects, continuously triage and prioritize accordingly, communicate
clearly and compellingly, THINK BIG and outside the box, and deliver exceptional
products and service.

Requirements

• Experience acting as a Program Security Officer, Security Specialist, or Security Manager with duties including interpreting and implementing requirements within the personnel, industrial, and physical security disciplines and overseeing security operations

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems

Responsibilities

• Managing physical security operations across the site
• Developing and maintaining post orders and security procedures
• Leading incident response and investigations
• Overseeing security equipment deployment and maintenance
• Partnering with construction teams throughout project lifecycles
• Driving continuous process improvement initiatives while managing vendor relationships
• Ensuring consistent implementation of all required security policies and procedures
• Participating in recurring site audits and compliance reviews
• Evaluating and testing emerging security technologies to enhance operational effectiveness
