About The Position
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Data Center Technician to join our growing infrastructure operations team. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This role requires performing hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs. Additionally, the position includes a rotation schedule where team members are designated as the primary responders to rapidly resolve issues that impact service availability during their assigned shifts. All candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful. In addition to hardware and network repair, candidates will install equipment, create documentation, innovate solutions, participate in site-level project work, and fix complex problems within the Data Center space. You will be required to work shift work that will include days/nights/weekends/holidays. Traveling within and outside of regional work area is required.
