About The Position
Cogent Communications is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager ideally in the Dallas TX area. The role involves keeping the assigned Cogent datacenters operational and alarm free, provisioning and turning up customer orders, managing vendors, coordinating datacenter activity with NOC and Datacenter Engineering, and responding to problems that require dispatch to a site. The position requires the ability to work flexible hours based on facility maintenance requirements and may involve travel to other data center sites in different cities.
