As an Oracle Manager, you will have an opportunity to develop skills related to DC Operations and develop strategic initiatives to guide program growth and continuous improvement. You will oversee teams that will troubleshoot and solve the most complex infrastructure issues at a broad scope to include hardware, software, and overarching data center deployments and solutions. You will create maintain and improve processes and documentation on technologies you support, understand all aspects of the equipment you support, know how to innovate, and make decisions on your own, take direction and feedback when it is given, pay attention to all details involved. As well, contribute to establishing annual KPIs and goals for the staff and managing the employee lifecycle against that.

  • Act tactically and think strategically to build a program.
  • Develop standardization, innovate to simplify, increase efficiency while driving down cost.
  • Ensure that contractors and vendors are delivering quality services and that all SLAs are being met.
  • Execute large scale projects and embrace change.
  • Develop streamlined reporting to track KPIs and manage performance against those.
  • Oversee problem ticket queues and build an organization of trust and collaboration.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Strong foundational knowledge of systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of Networking (DNS, TCP/IP)
  • Understanding of scripting (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP)
  • Demonstrated examples of process improvement execution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take direction, understand SOPs/ MOPs, and escalate appropriately
  • Open to provide after-hours support as needed
  • Experience supporting large, Enterprise customers in an Operations environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 6-10 years relevant experience in a Support / Operations role preferred.
  • 2+ year relevant experience in lead or management roles
