Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data center operations.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience with data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cooling systems.
  • Proficiency with the Linux Operating System.
  • Experience using data center management tools and software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations.
  • Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Network+).

Responsibilities

  • Guide a team of technicians through hardware diagnostics, physical repairs, and new equipment installations.
  • Develop and implement best practices to maximize uptime.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for all on-site activities.
  • Respond to technical emergencies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of critical infrastructure.
