This impactful position requires analytical strength, attention to detail, open communication and the ability to work autonomously. The Logistics Manager is a strategic leadership role that partners with Infrastructure teams and various Amazon stakeholders to manage communication, team metrics, and specific deliverables. This position requires strong urgency, sound judgment, and the ability to drive teams toward innovation and simplification across local, regional, and cross-regional scales. As both strategist and implementer, they ensure streamlined organizational activities that guarantee business success while developing and coaching their team members to make effective decisions and improve organizational culture. In their leadership capacity, Logistics Managers establish and maintain a culture of accountability, ensuring team members understand their roles, expectations, and impact on broader organizational goals. They demonstrate expertise in escalation management, consensus building, and setting vision and direction for their designated areas. Through their high judgment and expertise, they design optimal team structures and mechanisms to meet both immediate and long-term business objectives while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks. The role requires both tactical and strategic thinking to achieve success. Tactically, Logistics Managers ensure efficient team operations, SLA compliance, and results delivery through effective planning and communication. Strategically, they establish goals in undefined areas, create vision, and align priorities with long-term business objectives. They maintain a strong focus on measurable outcomes, data-driven decisions, and policy compliance while continuously working to improve customer experience, deliverable quality, and team environment through root cause resolution, automation, and strategic project prioritization.
