About The Position

The Milestone Data Center Logistics Associate L2 is responsible for safely moving all the parts into, out of, and around the warehouse and data center environment using a variety of technology and equipment to support the Logistics Team in the daily execution of service operations to the set standards and ensuring compliance to support excellent service quality and customer engagement. This role is a full-time, onsite position in an environment that consists of a large warehouse, data center, and internal transport services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in safety and warehouse or logistics, receiving, asset life cycle management, or related field
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices
  • Proven dedication to workplace safety and a strong safety-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and enforce safety protocols respectfully.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently on safety-related tasks.
  • Basic understanding of site safety procedures and protocols (or willingness to learn rapidly).
  • Prior experience with or willingness to learn PPE inventory management and MHE certification processes.
  • Proficient in Windows-based programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team of logistics operators who work together and independently
  • Assist with the team completion of Toolbox Talks.
  • Assist with Incident Investigation and Mitigation Implementation.
  • Assist with Safety Training and MHE (Material Handling Equipment) certification retraining.
  • Maintain a dedicated Dock Safety Presence (e.g., Rack process).
  • Perform Site Safety Presence / Safety Walks and assist with follow-up actions.
  • Manage PPE distribution and inventory control.
  • Enforce the correct use of PPE across the site.
  • Record and report heat stress awareness observations.
  • Lead the facility's flex and stretch program.
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in a proactive, compliant, and effective manner
  • Ensure compliance of operational execution in line with Standard Operating Practices and Work Instructions
  • Maintain strict inventory control and conduct accurate system transactions
  • Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts
  • Assists in monthly and/or annual physical inventories; provides inventory reports
  • Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Keep a strong working knowledge of all operating systems in the work area
  • Transport inventory by hand, material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts or pallet jacks)
  • Complete other duties that may be assigned as required with consideration for quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Commit to excellence in your contribution to overall Service Delivery
  • Work alongside Team members to assist in workload execution, monitor quality, observe areas for improvement, and support service knowledge growth
  • Ensure the maintenance of 5S standards within all operational areas
  • Escalate all areas of service non-compliance in a timely and effective manner to support investigation and remediation
  • Participate in all assigned training to support the execution of their assigned responsibilities
  • Ensure proactive customer service support to the Client and other operational teams as required
